Good knowledge of Unix Usage (Linux and AIX)

Good knowledge of UNIX operating system with understanding of Kernel parameters and volumes (NAS & SAN) and file systems.

Basic knowledge of testing the network and URLS with commands like nslookup, lsof, etc.

Database

Good knowledge of Database Administration.

Monitoring sessions.

Tuning SQLs

Performance improving init.ora parameters.

Table spaces and data files on raw devices and file systems including stripping and mirroring.

Understanding to read and interpret the alert log files, output of tkprof and AWRR reports.

E-Business Suite

Full understanding of the E-Business suite with its architecture

Full understanding of all processes of the E- Business suite with their individual configuration files and log files and to trouble shoot issues with each component.

Forms Server, Report Server, Concurrent Manager, Apache Servers and etc.

Manage and administer E-Business users. Understand and administration menus, responsibilities and functions.
