Key Areas of Responsibility Team Lead:
The BB LSS Manager identifies:
Act as a change agent for driving continuous
improvement in the organization
Development & Implementation of the Improvement
Roadmap
Formulates the breakthrough improvement
opportunities and priorities that
contribute to the targets as set in the SO Management Agenda
Identify and set up 6 sigma based improvement
projects as part of substantial portfolio (~30).
Review the effectiveness of Project Charters created
Periodic review of the improvement programs as part
of the strategic plan
Recruit, Drives, challenges, coaches and develops
the team of BBLSS Improvement Experts in achieving the improvement targets.
Assures the deployment and lasting implementation
of improvement successes in the
organization
Deploy Black Belt methodology & tools, with
rigour in the organisation
External benchmarking to create learning
opportunities
Team Management
Manages the team of BBLSS Improvement Experts
Assures that the team of BBLSS Improvement Experts
is at strength, and consist of people with the adequate qualifications
Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of methodologies such as DFSS,
DMAIC/ MEDIC etc.
Knowledge of software development and support
processes/ Service Operations processes
Good knowledge of Measurements
Good knowledge of Quality fundamentals like TQM,
Quality standards & models (ITIL/ ISO 20K/Cobit)
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in (Lean) Six
Sigma improvement program management. ‘Master Black Belt’
Good experience with Statistical tools and methods
Experience as a BB with at least 2 projects
completed.
Mentored at least 15 Green belt projects
