Job Description:
Ensure product quality, secure test method and test environment to
fulfill all the assigned test activities within approved cost, time and quality
frame.
Perform as the test authority to validate one of the following
subsystems of smart-phone platform: Audio, Video, Image and Graphics, Power and
Performance Management, file System\memory, Platform Security, Wireless System
(WiFi, Bluetooth GPS and NFC), Test Tools & Automation
Define domain test strategy, establish domain verification scope and
analyze test coverage.
Design, develop domain tests and execute domain test plans.
Identify errors, faults and gaps in software and hardware through the
use of systematic tests.
Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification
of product features.
Analyzes test results, isolate and report anomalies to ensure
functionality and recommends corrective solution, work closely with development
to fix problems and verify solutions
Review and provide feedback for product requirements and customer
documentation.
Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or BSEE is a must. MS is preferred.
8 + years experience with system verification and test automation for
Telecommunications and Data Communications products.
Technical expertise in one of the following domains: Audio, Video,
Image and Graphics, Power and Performance Management, file system\memory\USB,
Platform Security, Wireless System (WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC), Test Tools
& Automation
Working knowledge with common wireless platform test equipment from
R&S, Agilent, Anite, Anritsu etc.
Be familiar with Linux Kernel, Android, Windows Mobile. C/C++
programming and Python/Perl/Shell coding is desired.
Thorough understanding of product development life cycle and product testing
methodology.
Must be proficient in English (verbal & written)
