 Come intern our team! The candidate will be part of the SW development group in SII (SW Innovation and Infrastructure) focused on SoC media SW products. SoCs are the primary growth opportunity for Intel as we push computing to smart devices (smartphones, tablets, smart in-vehicle infotainment, etc.). The SW Innovation and Infrastructure (SII) is the hub of SW architecture and engineering innovation, product development, and is the central Intel group driving SW innovation and best engineering practices at Intel. This group is currently working on providing the Windows media components (audio, speech, camera, perception) for Intel SoC devices such as tablets and embedded devices. The team also works on image recognition and pattern matching. This group works across the entire SW stack - firmware, drivers, middleware, app framework. The candidate will work on the Windows media components for Intel SoCs.

Qualifications:-
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:-
Must be pursuing an MS or PhD in Computer Engineering , Computer Science, or Management Information Systems in College of Computer Science
Minimum of 3 months experience with software programming languages (i.e. C, C++)

Preferred Qualifications:-
Prior experience with Intel SoC platforms
Prior experience with drivers/firmware
Prior experience with media, graphics, security and power management
Prior experience with bootloaders and firmware
Prior experience with SoC tools, architecture, and the ecosystem
