Job Description:
In this role the candidate will be responsible for managing a team of
business analysts and support staff who execute operations related to retail
channel data (Point of Sale POS) governance and claims management.
Primary responsibilities
include:
Aggregating and aligning data from different tiers in channel (e.g.
distributors, resellers, OEMs, retailers) for consolidated analysis
Managing and validating multiple POS (back-end) credits for POS
transactions and promotions
Analyze trade promotions data and assign to appropriate POS buckets
Analyze inventory and price moves, and offer price protection
incentives
Complex sales credit assignments based on combination of distributors,
resellers, end customers, territories, product families, etc.
Collaborating and validating marketing incentives such as MDF, co-op,
volume incentive rebates and loyalty programs
Consolidated channel control dashboard and analytics for complete
channel insight
Sell-through revenue recognition, net of back end credits
Provide appropriate cross-functional teams and customers with a
precise understanding of issues
Periodic analysis of customer reported issues to define new processes
and improve existing processes for customer support resulting in higher levels
of customer satisfaction.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
MUST - Working in retail multi- tier channel management with direct
interaction with distributors and resellers
MUST Experience working with global distribution network
MUST Good understanding of revenue recognition (Sell Thru concept for
FMCG products) and Financial Management processes
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with 4 to 5 years managing
teams
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with the
ability to provide quick resolutions to problems
Effective written/report writing and verbal communication skills
demonstrating clarity
Ability to make high-level presentations, customer communications,
etc.
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements
Familiarity with reporting systems and dashboards
High energy individual who enjoys a fast paced results oriented
environment
Must have good understanding of a "services business" in a
high tech environment
