Job Description: In
this position, the individual will analyze complex business problems to be
solved with automated systems. Provide technical expertise in identifying,
evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and
meet user requirements. Configure system settings and options; plan and execute
unit, integration and acceptance testing; and create specifications for systems
to meet business requirements. Design details of automated systems. May provide
consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead
cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
Desire Candidate Profile:
This position requires 6 to 8 Years of Experience in BI/BW (at least
2+ years with BI 7.0) and should have 8+ years of overall experience. Strong
with BI related work in some of these functional areas : Logistics(SD,
Inventory, Purchasing, PP), Finance(GL,AR,AP,COPA) and CRM areas.2 to 3 Years
BW ABAP Experience in Writing codes for routines, extractors , User exits and
Abap Query (Infoset query). Experienced with ABAP OOPs will be an added
advantage. 4+ Years of BW Development Experience (non-support role). Worked in
a Dynamic Project environment or a support organization. BEx (Business
Explorer) experience with Standard, Hierarchical, and Structure queries;
Restricted/Calculated Key Figures, Virtual Characteristic/Key Figures, Filters,
Variables, and Conditions Experience with Development of Generic Extractors,
Custom Extractors, and Non-SAP Sources, i.e. Flat Files Familiar with the data
integration point of various functional areas of the ECC and CRM environments.
Create/Maintain Info Object, Info Cubes, ODS objects, Multi Providers, DSO,
Info sets, etc. Create/Maintain Process Chains, Experience in load monitoring;
issue resolution; Data analysis and reconciliation process. Experience in BO
particularly in WEBI reports and other BO products would be an added advantage.
