Job Description:
Through regular contact at Senior Management and Executive Board Level, drives improvements in the quality system across the business.

Appropriate internal people management certificates;

5-7 years of Quality Management experience in IT;

Experience of working in an outsourcing and service delivery environment;

An excellent understanding of the Capgemini financial reporting controls;

ISAE 3402 Fundamentals/Introduction certificate;

ITIL, ISO 9001, 20000, CMMi Intermediate certificates;

ISO 27001,14001 Foundations certificates; Six Sigma Black belt; Lean practionaires and management training;

A very good understanding of Capgemini Group Policies (Blue Book) and Methods (DELIVER 2);

A very good understanding of IS Quality Management System (QMS) and its components plus Client’s QMS if within engagements;

Drives governance, co-ordination and alignment of quality functions across the breadth of the business within a geography;

Spearheads improvements in the definition, execution, monitoring and reporting of controls so that control weaknesses can be fixed before they result in customer-visible problems; Support Group Internal
Audit readiness activities;

Sells the business' quality capabilities to potential clients on major bids;

Defines practical, efficient and effective quality-related policies and standards;

Creates a vision and strategic plan for the improvement of quality;

Builds the credibility of the Quality function whilst fostering strong executive-level relationships;

Develops business cases to prove the worth of quality improvement initiatives;

Defines key performance indicators for their area of accountability;

Negotiates with executives to obtain funding for improvement initiatives;

Drives quality improvement initiatives – making the key decisions, managing the issues and mitigating the risks;

Takes accountability for day to day management and the financial control of their team;

Defines the business objectives and development objectives of their team members;

Mentors and coaches Quality Managers and Senior Quality Consultants (grades O8 and O7)

Ensures that the Quality function is adequately resourced with appropriately trained and experienced people
