Job Description
This is a RTL design engineer position in the Processor Graphics team
within VPG. VPG delivers integrated graphics IP for Intel processors. The
position is for Graphics Uncore design that comprises interface, cache, globals
logic including power management and clocking. The person would be responsible
for the micro-architecture and logic design of one or more logic units in the
Graphics Uncore clusters.
This is a position with a
wide range of responsibilities including
Working with micro-architects to define and scope design requirements
and develop specifications
Implementing the design in RTL
Working with pre-silicon validation team to develop test-plans and
validation collateral
Working with the physical design team for floorplan and timing
convergence
Working with Power & Performance modelling teams to analyze and
identify design improvements
Working with post-silicon teams to resolve silicon-level sightings.
Desired Profile
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor or a Master degree in Electrical
Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience. Position
open in adjacent grades for those with lower or higher relevant experience.
Additional qualifications
include
Experience with ASIC and/or SOC design flows and methodology.
Experience in HDL design with Systemverilog.
Experience with industry standard RTL design, simulation and debug
tools.
Experience in area and timing convergence.
Desirable qualifications
Knowledge of Processor and/or Graphics designs
Scripting abilities.
