Job Description
Software Engineers conduct or participate in
multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware
engineers in the design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement
layout tools and design rule checkers, electronic data processing systems
software. Determines computer user needs, advises hardware designers on machine
characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity,
processing speed, and input/output requirements, designs and develops compilers
and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Responds to
customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to
problems utilizing formal education, judgement and formal software process.
Desired Profile
Qualifications
BE with 12+ Years or Masters with 10+ Years
of relevant experience in Low level BSP/Driver development. Should have played
a Technical Lead role for a small team for consumer devices.
Experience on Development/ Validation of BSP
in Android/Linux/Other RTOS.
Understanding of Different Driver
architectures (Touch, Audio/ALSA, DMA, Serial, Storage, HID, PCI, SPI,I2C etc).
Sound technical fundamentals of Computer
Architecture, Operating System.
Excellent debugging and triaging skills with
JTAG, Lauterbach, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscope and power measurement tools
Excellent verbal and written communication
and interpersonal skills.
Decision making and problem solving technical
specifications and marketing communication literature to OEMs.
Passion to work with customers (OEMs) and
Multi Geo Stakeholders.
Stakeholder and conflict management skills.
Interest to travel to conduct business with
OEMs around world
