Job Description
The candidate will be part of graphics front
end RTL design team under Visual and Parallel Computing Group (VPG) responsible
for delivery of Graphics cores for Intel's CPUs / SOCs for notebook and tablet
platforms. In this position, the candidate will work on front-end RTL design
and validation activities related to 3D and / or media features like Microsoft*
DirectX, OCL, OGL, GPGPU, Image Enhancement etc. for Intel's next generation
graphics cores. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Development of micro-architecture, RTL coding
and validation of 3d / media units
Development of test plans, test writing and
execution
Work with structural design teams to ensure
timing closure for the owned units
Work with validation and integration teams
for debugs / fixes pre and post Silicon
Desired Profile
Strong logic design skills and experience in
System Verilog / Verilog / VHDL*
Strong analytically ability, problem solving
and communication skills
Good understanding of ASIC design flow,
validation concepts like ATG, test plan writing, functional coverage etc.
Exposure to graphics and / or media
architecture in previous employment would be an added advantage
Basic programming in C* and/or C++* or Perl*
or TCL*
Coursework in relevant areas of programming,
computer graphics, digital design and computer architecture are desirable
