Job Description
Scope and Impact:
As an individual technical contributor in the Big Data & Mobile
Analytics platform team, you influence the overall architecture and work on
design of the Big Data solution and implement various data services based on
Hadoop/MapReduce/Hive etc., Mobile Data Analytics is central to our product
strategy and you will play a major role in developing innovative mobile data
analytics insights
Responsibilities:
You will have responsibility developing data services, data feed and
mobile analytics insight solutions based on open source technologies Hadoop,
Map Reduce, Hive, HBase and Google Cloud services - Big Query, Cloud Storage,
App Engine Datastore, App Engine and GCE. You will be interfacing closely with
Product Management, Quality Assurance, Operations, and development teams.
Delivery and support data services in time with quality is essential
Desired Profile
Passion to innovate and provide solutions for Big Data and Data
Analytics
Deep understanding of distributed computing and has experiences in
delivering solutions in this area.
Expert in multi-threading and concurrency concepts
Demonstrated experience in Hadoop and its related technologies
Map/Reduce, Hbase, Hive, or Google
Cloud services BigQuery, Cloud Storage, App Engine Datastore, App
Engine and GCE.
Should have been involved in commercial deployment of Hadoop/MR based
system.
Excellent knowledge and experience in Java programming and OOAD
Experience with Linux, Apache, Web Servers, SQL, HTTP.
Sound understanding of RDBMS concepts and working knowledge of Oracle
DB, MySQL will be an added
advantage.
High energy and passion towards delivering innovative solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
