Job Description
Oracle Global Financial Information Center (GFIC) is part of the
Global Finance Organization of Oracle Corporation and is located in Bangalore.
Global Business Finance (GBF) is the organization that provides Oracle Business
Leads the financial planning and reporting support. GFIC GBF is the extended
business finance organization where all the geographies and businesses of
Oracle Corporation are supported centrally. This organization is also called
the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) center. The key areas where GFIC
GBF is involved in business support are:
a. Periodic Management reporting P&L, Financial and Operational
Metrics
b. P&L forecasting Revenue, Operating Expenses and Headcount
forecasting
c. Variance Analysis Analyzing the variance between Actuals v/s
forecast & v/s budget.
d. Adhoc analysis non-standard, urgent request of financial
information.
e. Annual Budgeting
f. Financial system maintenance
g. Driving Standardization and automation initiatives
h. Driving process efficiencies and consistencies
Oracle was the pioneer in the area of centralizing business finance
function and GFIC GBF has completed 10 years of its operation in that field.
Desired Profile
Very good finance knowledge, excellent excel skills and people
management skills (or atleast the potential)
Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 2yrs post qualification
experience. OR
Cost Accountant with a minimum of 3yrs post qualification experience.
OR
MBA/CA Inter/ICWA Inter with minimum of 5yrs post qualification
experience.
Prior experience in forecasting/budgeting & MIS reporting is
mandatory.
Adept in MS Excel. Working knowledge is a MUST.
Possess good communication skills.
Willingness to work in night shift (6:00 P:M 3:00 A:M)
