Job Description
Position
Overview
Replicon is
the world leader in cloud-based time and expense management solutions, with

Senior Linux Administrator/ System Specialist, you will be responsible for
configuring, managing, maintaining, and supporting Linux servers, and the
applications/databases that run on them to ensure high availability and
resilience of the core systems architecture. This position is based out of our
Bangalore office and plays a critical role in our aggressive growth plan.
This
position requires the employee to be work in North American business timings.
Key
Responsibilities:
Installation,
configuration, maintenance of CentOS and Ubuntu servers (physical &
virtual)
Managing
Linux clustering technologies - Corosync/Pacemaker, HAproxy
Configuration
and maintenance of various application supporting technologies - Redis,
memcached, Squid, Puppet, Apache, mysql, PostgreSQL
Perform
installations, patches, upgrades, capacity planning and performance tuning
Experience
in configuring and administrating Linux security and performing benchmark and
security remediation
Familiarity
with computer network attack and exploitation methodologies
Diagnose,
monitor and troubleshoot system performance.
Strong
knowledge of Linux kernel configuration and scripting like SHELL,
Perl/Python/Ruby etc.,
Desired Profile
Qualifications:
Bachelor's
degree, 5 - 6+ years experience in administering UNIX
At least 3+
years in a 24/7/365 environment
Experience
with various Linux services and applications: HAproxy , Corosync, Pacemaker,
Squid, Memcached, Redis, Puppet, Apache, mysql, PostgreSQL
Excellent
communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong
interpersonal and relationship building skills conducive to team development
Must be
willing to work in North American business timings
