Job Description
The candidate should have complete
understanding of the US recruitment process.
Will be accountable for end to end
recruitment, which includes sourcing of profiles from various channels, job
portals, linkedIn, etc., screening of profiles, doing an initial round of
screening and making sure that the candidate has all the required sets of
mandatory skills and qualification, scheduling interviews with the panels,
negotiation skills,etc.
Candidates who have worked on skills related
to smartphones, mobile technology, semiconductirs, multimedia, etc. will be
preferred.
Should be aware of all the tax terms that are
followed in US.
Should have experience of working on contract
positions as well as permanent positions.
Should be technically sound, candidates from
technical background will be preferred.
Should have excellent communication skills
and interpersonal skills.
Also should have strong negotiation skills and
willingness to learn.
Duties and
Responsibilities
Set up technical interviews of selected
qualified applicants, evaluate technical skills, qualifications, technical
skill testing, background checks to verify experience, and where appropriate
review of their past performance through on the job supervisors.
Assess technical skills of applicants against
the company's internal selection criteria for ongoing and future project needs
and requirements.
Make presentations to selected applicant pool
about company background and ongoing projects, potential project assignment,
the skills and experience along with specific technical knowledge required for
company projects.
Create database of potential future hires
based upon applicant technical skills to identify individuals who could be
considered for assignments based upon pre-screening and testing of their
technical skills.
Assign technical hires based upon
requirements issued by our project managers based upon client requirements,
technical requisitions, client needs, project complexity, specific technical
skills, and level of experience required;
Follow up with hiring managers, technical
leads and clients to asses if needs have been met to their satisfaction;
Arrange training and technical seminars to as
needed for technical staff to enhance technical skills needed for project
completion and client needs.
Keep abreast of compensation trends for IT
Professionals and assess other factors to be considered in making an offer for
IT professionals - such as the individual's educational backgrounds, and years
of work experience, the person's individual technical skills and expertise in
important and hard-to-find areas, the types of specific positions that the
individual has held in the past, particularly if those positions involve
similar types of work and finally, market conditions, for example, if the
individual has a competing offer, which we need to match, or the current salary
for that person's skill set.
Keep employee files up to date with hiring
related regulatory compliance, up to date project assignment, employee reviews,
assessments of technical skills, salaries and benefits agreed to with employee
and potential future assignments based upon skills and qualifications.
