Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
As a Senior Manager Quality for the largest SBU at Aricent, s/he is responsible for driving Quality Assurance activities for a few BUs under the SBU. Each BU typically has around 25-50 delivery programs which needs to be supported.

As the QA lead for projects in a BU, s/he is responsible for:

Ensuring that a QA plan is in place for every program and is adhered to;

Managing a team of QA professionals, directly and indirectly, to provide QA support to projects;

Identifying process improvement opportunities based on the needs and then tracking them to closure;

Collaborating with delivery functions and suggesting solutions to their delivery challenges;

Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by proactively identifying bottlenecks in delivery and working with customers and delivery teams, to overcome them

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Approximately, there would be around 4-6 direct reports (who are managers/QA leads) and 6-12 indirect reports (who are project level SQA representatives)


DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. QA oversight to programs
2. Team management
3. Customer management (from QA perspective) for key programs
4. Process development
5. Process improvement activities
6. Audits
7. QA Dashboard creation and reviews


OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Budget preparation and tracking
2. Cost optimization


QUALIFICATIONS
B.E or equivalent
At least 12+ years of experience in Software QA domain
Previous experience in a similar role in a product or large services company
Knowledge of Agile processes, CMMI and ISO 9000 standards and hands-on experience in application of these standards/models in the past.
Any experience on managing projects in the past would be highly preferred.


PREFERRED
PMP certification
Certified Scrum Master Certification
Green/Black Belt in Six Sigma
