Job Description
Designs, builds, and integrates Messaging solutions to support Intel's
business needs. Responsible for deployment that meets IT standards. Support
capabilities which include MS Exchange, MS Outlook, Unified Messaging,
Anti-spam (Iron Port), E-mail encryption, as well as small form factor Push
Mail.
Responsible for understanding client and/or server architecture,
system patching, system management; auditing; automation, as well as server
build processes. Own the development, testing and deployment of Messaging
system. Work closely with Service and Product Management to develop technical
roadmaps and drive design, testing and deployment of Messaging products and
solutions.
Provides these services on both internal and externally environment,
interacts with customers, IT partners, system architects, product managers,
service and support teams, and other system users who require input regarding
their planned or existing system.
MS Exchange administration, sustaining Engineering work with a strong
infrastructure focus. Activities will include break fix and general support
within the service line. Provide 3rd level support for Messaging Infrastructure
and Office Client where required.
Support vendor and end-user escalations and requires being on-call
(hot pager).
Powershell and vbscript are an added advantage for this position.
Experience preferred
Understand the complexities of the Microsoft messaging environment and
how it integrates with other environments (handhelds) etc.
Experience with Exchange administration and the tools used to
administer and investigate accounts.
Troubleshoot, resolve and document solutions for issues.
Understand the interdependencies and differences of client vs.
infrastructure issues
Systems engineering, administration, and integration knowledge of
Microsoft server products, particularly Microsoft* Exchange and dependencies
with Active Directory.
General knowledge of Computer Networking and SAN
Automation, scripting or development skills
Other skills
