Job Description
Generate circuit design schematics, layouts,
printed circuit boards (PCB) using CAD tools.
Design, simulate, implement and test digital
electronics using discrete circuits, CPLDs, FPGAs, DSPs, and microcontrollers,
and preferably generate firmware using VHDL, and Verilog.
Model and simulate digital circuits using
simulation tools such as MATLAB, ALLEGRO, ModelSim, Xilinx tools
Design and implement mixed signal and high
speed electronics for innovative sensor prototypes
Design signal conditioning circuits, analog
and digital amplifiers, analog and digital filters, modulation/demodulation
circuits, oscillators, mixers, ADC/DAC converters, digital interface circuits,
and power supplies to support advanced sensor research and development
activities.
Independently create and implement new and
innovative electronic circuit design concepts, and research advanced concepts
and applications of state of the art electronic design technology and solutions
to support advanced sensor technology development in response to customer, and
business needs.
