Roles & Responsibilities: Portfolio Finance

Job description: Senior role.
Sr. Financial Analysts provide comprehensive Costing, Price setting & and financial analysis, develop finance reports for product /service line & scenario analysis. At this level, they drive & provide key support for the management and customers. This role requires knowledge and expertise in Contract/Deal costing and financing and its FP&A related experience. Will also support financial & cost services and consulting on processes, programs, projects and contribute to planning, forecast and trend analysis as per the need.

Skills required
Driving collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g. Delivery Capability (Operations), Engineering, and Portfolio Mgt , Finance account management teams, Accounts executives etc in order to drive & develop contract /deal related health management along with cost rates which are used for costing new business, internal cost transfers, and setting annual business planning financial objectives and also for solution and bid management

Drive & Develop the appropriate level costing models for new services offerings as they pass through the various gates within the Concept to Cash life cycle

Create price setting which reflect the point of optimal utilization & productivity. Service industry experience with manufacturing industry exposure will be added advantage.

Standard rate model development

FP&A analysis, deep dive analysis of P&L and Balance sheets of business units or deals or contracts.

Finance business plan development

Cost to production stage consultancy of a capability development

Impact analysis & Forward cost Factors analysis.

Rate card development.

Project Management with the demonstrated ability to coordinate deliverables and collaborate with multiple team members to gather, organize, and analyze data coming from multiple sources.

Act in partnership with the Service Delivery/Operations, Sales/Marketing and Engineering teams to optimize the rate structure in a manner that maximizes margin outcomes.

To build & drive financial costing & margin modeling and produce standard financial reports in support of the offering development process for an offering or solution

To update an offering financial costing model in support of the offering development process for an offering or solution that has been approved by the business.

To review/approve the final financial business plan in preparation for the Plan or Build review gate

To consult in the new offering development process and ensure strategies and accounting policies and practices are aligned

To enable cost rate development for a new offering from an approved business plan

To enable Portfolio Management to develop pricing based on an approved business plan

Understand investment required to support development and implementation of the offering

Assess risk
Review/approve the financial business plan from Portfolio Finance

Generate standard financial reports:

Summary P&L

Cash Flow

Net Present Value (NPV) EVA

Internal Rate of Return (IRR)

Total Revenue

Total Cost of Revenue

Revenue Growth Rate

Payback Period

Return on Net Assets (RONA)

Interfacing directly with business and collaborating with EDS business unit in two-way feedback on service offering including actual and plan support.

Qualifications: ICWA/ICMA, CA, CFA, MBA finance (with B.Com as graduation) CPA with 8-10+ years of experience.
