Job Description
Test strategy designs, develops, test execution & reporting,
troubleshoots software programs for software system testing new products for
CMS OSS-T Portfolio
Writes and executes system testing plans, protocols, and system test
documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs, and
creates testing strategy solutions into application architecture Collaborates
and communicates with Team members, internal, and outsourced development
partners regarding software systems system testing status, progress,
troubleshooting.
Good working knowledge on Manual and Automation Testing covering all
boundaries conditions, negative scenarios of the application during testing
Ability to a Test Bed Setup and analyse defect trends and identify hot
spots.
Tools like QTP, Loadrunner, JMeter should be well understood for
execution of test cases
Good working knowledgable on Java/J2EE Technologies {Core Java,
Webservices, EJB, Hibernete}, Database {Oracle, MySQL}
Good working knowledge on Linux, Scripting
Good testing knowledge on Non-functional testing like Performance,
Scalibility, High Availability, Endurance, Load/Stress testing scenarios
Working knowledge on Quality Center Tool
Telecom Domain Knowledge
Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of
larger and more-complex development projects and produce good quality of system
testing deliverables
Problem Solving and Trouble
Ability to work under crunched schedules
Good Written and oral communications skills
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems, or equivalent
2. Minimum 4- 8 years experience
3. Hands on working experience with the following technologies:
a) Good telecom / network management OSS domain knowledge
b) Strong Testing Strategy & Testing Architectural Skills
c) Strong Test Automation Skills through tools d) Strong hands-on
& Problem solving skills
e) Strong Java/J2EE knowledge skills [Web Services, J BOSS Platform,
Core Java, JSF, Spring Framework etc..], Database {Oracle, MYSQL}
Knowledge and Skills
Expertise in multiple software systems testing tools and languages.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Software systems testing methodology, including writing and execution
of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English
and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product system testing
architectures, Test Strategy proposals and negotiate options at management
levels
