Job Description
General Purpose / Objectives: Role of all round embedded development
engineering expert with strong skills in C and hardware knowledge. Must have
strong debugging skills and Technical leadership capabilities. Is able to
double up as a test engineer as the project requires. Exposure to development
in a scrum environment is desirable.
Job Requirement:
Understanding and managing requirements
Architecture, Low level design and development
Hardware system setup and tests
Maintenance of Embedded Software Applications
Strong ability to understand customer requirements and requirements
management
Proven skills in architecting and designing embedded applications
Excellent C skills
Development experience in a resource constrained embedded platform
(low RAM/ROM/NVM footprint)
Good Knowledge in memory management
Experience in hardware setup (board bring up, usage of Oscilloscope,
multimeter)
Strong in basic software development practices such as writing clean
and efficient code and unit testing
Strong Debugging and maintenance skills
Exposure to any object oriented development language (C#/C++/Java) is
desirable
Exposure to an Agile/Scrum development environment is desirable
Good communication skills and a good listener
Technical Leadership skills
Goal oriented over task focused. Flexibility to work as a developer,
tester and technical documentation as the project needs
Desired Profile
Position Requirements:
Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in engineering Electronics or computer science
Experience: Around 7 years of experience in embedded software
development (Microcontrollers X251/ARM platforms)
1 year in the Smart Card Industry developing and testing embedded
smart card platforms and applications is an added advantage
Specific or Entrepreneurial Knowledge:
