Job Description
Responsible for developing performance test plans, able to understand
and work with software simulation models, FPGA based emulators. Basic
understanding of CPU/Graphics architecture and performance tradeoffs. Works
with various partners to enhance and improve graphics performance on upcoming
processor graphics devices by analyzing performance issues in software drivers
and applications, implementing software performance improvements, and
recommending future hardware & software improvements. Also responsible for
providing internal and external feedback to implement upcoming graphics
features in yet-to-be-released OSes to ensure our hardware and software will
function and perform as expected on next generation platforms as well as
designing /developing /implementing graphics system-level software for future
platforms.
In this position, candidate will be working on processor graphics
performance analysis. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Developing test plans for performance validation on Windows, Android
OS platforms.
Analyzing relevant performance benchmarks, applications, games etc.
Creating workloads for graphics performance measurement.
Analyzing existing graphics drivers, identifying performance issues
and working with partner teams to fix those issues.
Candidate must be able to work with independently and able to mentor
and help other members in team.
Desired Profile
Candidate must possess a bachelor degree in Computer Science
Engineering with 8-10 years' work/experience in the following areas:
Strong skills in C and/or C++ programming
Good understanding of Windows/Android operating systems and
architecture.
Good understanding of CPU/Graphics architecture, Memory models,
Caching etc.
