Job Description
Develops, implements, and maintains computer-based systems to meet
business requirements. Application Developers analyze, design, construct,
train, and implement application systems. Activities include documenting
decisions, adhering to standards and communicating with business groups. Other
responsibilities may include providing standards/guidelines for development,
responding to customer/client requests or events as they occur, and developing
solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgments.
Responsibilities would further include, but not limited to:
Provide inputs and collaborate with other team members through all
stages of -the SDLC
Follow Test Driven Development practices in an agile environment
Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and other technical
delivery team members to comprehend User Stories
Design, Development & Validation of developed capabilities
Adherence to IT building codes and standards
Desired Profile
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering
or a related discipline.
Over 2 + years of experience in design, develop, test and deploying
web solutions for enterprise applications.
Strong Technical skills in MS.NET 4.0, MVC 3.0, web service, jQuery,
Ajax, CSS
Experience in SQL server integration services, SQL server Analysis and
Reporting services, Java would be an added advantage
Proficiency in agile development methodologies.
Must be able to work independently with the stakeholders and be able
to convert the requirements into design and actual code.
Strong verbal, written communication skills and analytical skills and
must be a good team player.
Able to lead and guide the technical team as necessary.
Ability to effectively work on a team across geographical boundaries.
