Job Description
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Enabling a core set of applications by working with ISVs to deliver
Intel differentiation for Windows 8 and Android.
Drive the ISV to optimizing application power usage and performance by
taking advantage of Intel's platform HW Capabilities.
Being Intel's technical contact to present and discuss key platform
technologies with ISVs architects and developers, and influencing their planned
software products for Intel platform features with a special focus on power,
performance, security, etc.
Interacting with Intel's Software Service Group SSG and ISV Biz
contacts to communicate the technical requirements for ISV Enabling.
** Additional Expectations for this particular position **
In-depth hands-on/tool expertise (like VTune, GPA, GPU View, x-perf,
etc.) to run application performance characterization tools for understanding bottlenecks
in the app and driver stack (Android and Windows)
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
Good verbal, written and presentation skills to interface with
internal and external stakeholders.
Attention to details, data driven and track record of delivering
results according to project schedules
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment
Note: Position is open only for Hillsboro, Oregon and Bangalore, India
Would hire a G5 or G6, for this position.
Desired Profile
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the
minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top
candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or
Computer Science + 3-5 Years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Graphics and Media stack is preferred.
Software performance skills (performance profiling) is a huge plus.
