Learns and adapts to applicable technologies, products, and tools
Develops relevant product and domain knowledge
Understands and follows the standards and procedures related to JDA QA
Process
Understands requirements and test plans and writes functional,
installation, migration, and performance test cases and ensures coverage of
RASSUI attributes
Owns modules of high complexity
Designs, develops, and maintains Automation Framework and ensures that
it meets defined RASSUI standards
Writes, reviews and executes Batch/UI Automation Test scripts and
ensures they meet defined RASSUI standards
Reports defects in appropriate manner and follows the defined defect
life cycle process
Demonstrates the ability to install and configure relevant products on
all supported platforms in all supported configurations
Possesses knowledge of database architecture and data models used in
the relevant product
Sets up the testing environments
Executes migration tests
Coordinates and drives the test case review process
Works with development team to provide inputs to fix issues and
possible solutions to problems
Demonstrates problem solving and innovation ability
Plans System and Regression testing
Collaborates with appropriate JDA resources on defects/issues and
timelines to ensure timely delivery of releases
Participates with the entire team in setting the quality standards for
the product
Contributes in reviewing and defining of QA processes
Provides training, guidance, feedback, and coaching to testing team
members
Proactively reports all activities to the reporting manager
Proactively seeks assistance as required
Plans as required for Hardware and Software requirements for test
environment setups
Works as required with appropriate parties to plan test resource
requirements
Desired Profile
Strong experience in Automation Testing (QTP, Selenium, Win runner,
load runner)
Experience in Testing life cycle,
writing test cases, test management tools
Experience in functional, regression, integration smoke testing,
Experience in SQL (ability to write database queries)
Good analytical and communication skills
