Job Description
Component Design Engineers are responsible for the design and
development of electronic components. Responsibilities may include: the design
of chip layout circuit design, circuit checking, device evaluation and
characterization, documentation of specifications, prototype construction and
checkout, modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices and components,
performing developmental and/or test work, reviewing product requirements and
logic diagrams, planning and organizing design projects or phases of design
projects. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgments.
Desired Profile
Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Engineering or Maser of
Engineering degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering with 10
relevant experiences with the skills in logic design, synthesis, STA, place and
route flows. Candidate should have demonstrated leadership skills working with
a small team of motivated engineers. Additional qualifications include:
1. Good understanding of physical layout, reliability, noise, power,
manufacturability
2. Familiarity with Design Compiler, ICC and timing convergence tools
would be added plus
3. Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal
skills
