Desired Profile
The Data Scientist-Analyst is responsible for developing and
delivering analytical solutions to enhance & optimize online and offline
marketing strategies. This individual will be responsible to design and execute
marketing analysis and modeling projects that incorporate a wide range of
online & offline data assets. The ability to translate business objectives
into data and analytic requirements, along with developing the solution, is a
critical skill for the analytics team. A passion for learning at the pace of
our changing world and applying next practices is a basic requirement for this
position. Example project deliverables would include developing and applying
marketing success KPI frameworks, creating Tableau visualizations of online,
offline, and customer data, creating predictive digital models to target
profitable prospect acquisition campaigns, and developing marketing
effectiveness analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
Define data and analytic requirements for marketing
optimization projects
Develep KPI frameworks for evaluating direct and indirect
impacts of marketing campaigns
Build Predictive Models used to optimize Digital programs:
Digital Forecasting, Audience insights,
Data mining, Digital Attribution and
Lifetime value analyses.
Build and maintain predictive models for scoring prospects
and leads
Develop and maintain analytics to monitor conversion funnel
performance and accurately attribute prospects and sales to marketing channels
Build custom analyses from disparate data sets to answer
unique questions about our customers and business performance.
Identify hypothesis for A/B and experimental design
marketing tests
Determine, quantify and validate the inter-relationships
between marketing tactics, sales channel processes, customer touchpoints,
online and offline interactions, and insurance consumer purchase intent
behavior.
Deliver analytic insights and recommendations to working
teams or in presentations to Marketing VPs and company officers.

Google Analytics.
Experience:
Extensive knowledge working with statistical software (e.g.,
R, SAS, SPSS) for building segmentation, explanatory, and predictive models
Experience building and applying machine learning
techniques, ensemble models, and related methodologies for developing
segmentation, targeting, and/or predictive modelling projects
2+ years of deep analytical experience in marketing
analytics, decision science, data mining and/or computational advertising.
Must be knowledgeable in one of the following coding
languages: R, Python, or Hive.
Technical expertise and knowledge of data, systems and
processes of digital marketing (adservers, DMP, DSP, etc) is a plus
Experience with leveraging data platforms (e.g. Hadoop,
Acxiom BDE, etc) for deeper analysis is a plus.
Experience in data visualization (Tableau, D3, etc)- Tableau
is a plus
2-3 years of applicable working experience
Undergraduate/Graduate degree in a quantitative field
(computer science, statistics, economics, etc).
