Job
Description
Design and
deliver a database that will encompass various domain areas of Human Capital
Management including HR, Benefits, Payroll and Talent Management across
multiple client products.
The person
will be involved in database design, solution/architecture of features,
development, performance tuning, and managing scalability of databases.
- 8 - 12
years of experience in Oracle PL / SQL, DB Architect, Database Architect
- Expert
with SQL and PL/SQL, performance tuning, security and reliability.
- Advanced
features like RAC, materialized views, security policies, DBLinks, partitions.
- Manage
databases for large scale enterprise applications built to support multi
tenancy
- Have
experience with trouble shooting production issues, conduct root cause analysis
and make
recommendations for improvement.
- Technical
team leader experience
Must be
able to drive the work activities of junior associates
Must
display an aptitude for coaching and mentoring junior associates
Perform
code and design reviews and own quality of deliverables
- Explore
technology trends in databases, perform POCs and make suitable recommendations
for the technology road map of the product.

Collaborate with business analysts, technical architects, team leaders and
stakeholders to understand / clarify requirements and arrive at solutions.
- Ability to
design, develop, and deploy new solutions while supporting and enhancing
existing enterprise solutions
- Must be
able to communicate effectively (written & oral) with team members and
business partners in an onshore + offshore environment
- Operate
effectively in an Agile development environment and have flexibility with
timings/working hours.
- Prior
HCM/HR experience is a big plus
