Job Description
Role Specifications:
· Complex
program management and ownership of high value global project portfolio
· Collate and
track schedules/milestones, hold regular ops reviews, collate and present
status at release meetings and BU ops review
· Drive gating
milestone meetings and reviews, track project health and quality, monitor
escalations, and drive get-well and hardening initiatives as required
· Drive product-team meetings with all
required stakeholders, including engineering teams, marketing, manufacturing
and services
· Prepare
budgets, capex/equipment/lab utilization/forecast, regular and vendor headcount
tracking
· Work cross-functionally
with finance, engineering infra, workplace resources teams for
logistical
requirements
· Post-project
assessments
· Monitor
quality and efficiency dashboards
· Drive
quality and metrics improvement and tooling initiatives
· Process
audits: TL9k, ISO9000
· Training:
Plan and drive technology, new hire induction and boot-camp initiatives for
team
·
Communications: Exec reviews, All hands, email updates to
execs/stakeholders
· Program
manage product/project transitions
Skills - Required
· BE/B.Tech
required
· Excellent
oral and written communication
· Ideally
10-14 years overall experience with 4 or more years of prior experience in a
global software organization (preferably with large Product Engineering /
R&D multinationals of repute) in similar role
Skills - Desired
· MBA, PMP
preferred
Should know OR be willing to learn (training will be
provided)
· Cisco
engineering processes - CPDM, engg milestones, software quality dashboards,
ISO/TL9K, baseline processes
· Excel
(advanced), PowerPoint (advanced), Microsoft Project (Intermediate), Sharepoint
(User level)
· Quantitative
skills: ability to work with budgets, forecasts, resource spreadsheets. Web
skills: HTML, Wiki, etc (intermediate)
