Come intern with Intel's Mobile Communications Group. Responsibilities may be quite diverse in a technical nature and will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the role, U.S. experience and education requirements. Job assignments may be for the summer or for short periods throughout the school year.

The Graduate Materials PM Intern role within the Smartphone Manufacturing Operations team is responsible for ensuring supply line availability for New Product Introduction (NPI) of Smartphones. This includes assessing current on-hand material position, sourcing and purchasing of required components, and driving appropriate actions to ensure material delivery to the Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) in support of NPI builds. In additionl, the Graduate Materials Intern is expected to complete an agreed-upon materials project over the course of the intership.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
I. Demonstrated ability to drive and implement supply chain capabilities to support new or adjacent (non-IA) businesses within Intel.
II. Ability to work in a complex, dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment
III. Ability to drive projects and processes while making improvements and generating predictable results
IV. Good communication skills and presentation skills are required


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
I. Must be pursuing an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
II. Minimum of 3 months experience with software/programming languages (i.e. C, C++, C#, Visual Basic/.NET. Perl, Python, Java, etc.)
