Description: Senior Technical Consultant – AEM

Responsibilities
To
architect, design and develop (through Team) solution for product/project &
sustenance delivery.
Hands-on
and Implement the solutions along with a high technically focused team to
provide technical expertise in the Design and planning of solutions.
Build
solutions on top of the CQ WCM, DAM and SoCo modules
Transfers
and insures business requirements into technical specs and provides technical
implementation solution and recommendations
Create
and integrate content-driven applications on top of the CQ core platform, and
integrate with other systems
Define
implementation processes, and best practices
Handle
the Demos and POCs for clients.
Provide
technical guidance to team and mentor the technical focused team.
Hands-on
contribution as part of the team and lead the day-to-day technical activities
bringing in excellence in implementation.
Work
closely with clients, developers, system administrators and BA’s to build Adobe
AEM- WCM solutions.
Provide
solutions in integrating third-party systems with Adobe CQ as part of overall
architecture.
Provide
the leadership and direction to team by leading the projects in the agile model
taking on the different roles required in the project.
Requirements
Must:
Deep understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag libraries, and JSTL
skills, combined with a strong understanding of Enterprise Java frameworks such
as Spring and Hibernate
Preferred:
Deep understanding of all CQ5 building blocks including templates, components,
dialogs, widgets, etc., and the CQ5 development
Preferred:
Deep understanding of the Site deployment, Cashing, Clustering and replication
mechanism’s.
Must:
Deep understanding in Java, web development experience, other Content
Management system experience
Must:
Expertise with core web technologies including XML, XHTML, Client Server-Side
Scripting languages such as JavaScript, and JSP, and web services development
using RESTful implementations
Preferred:
Expertise in Day CQ foundational concepts, including the CRX repository, the CQ
platform, the use of core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix, a
solid understanding of all Day CQ building blocks including templates,
components, dialogs, widgets, etc, and the CQ development and deployment
process.
Must:
Application development, distributed application development and
Internet/Intranet based database applications
Preferred:
Good understanding of and hands- on development experience with relevant
"Java CMS" frameworks including Apache Sling for content- centric
application development, JCR and JSR- 170 / JSR- 283 for Content Management,
JSR- 168 and JSR- 286 for Portal development, and Apache Felix for OSGi bundle
development.
Overall experience of 6 - 10+ years with 2+
years of web content management system experience working with one or more CMS
packages is essential.
