Job responsibilities include:
Working collaboratively with other Software, Hardware Design,
Architecture, Marketing, and Application Engineering teams
Leadership and management of a team of talented engineers in a
fast-paced and demanding development environment
Strengthening the team by hiring and retaining top-flight development
engineering talent
Gather embedded application requirements from Customers/Marketing,
plan and execute projects in a timely manner.
Job Requirements:
Typically requires a BS in CS/EE and 12 years or MS in CS/EE and 9+
years of industry experience with a strong background in Embedded/System
Software development.
Solid experience in managing complex engineering projects for the last
3-5 years, solid experience in project management, as well as effectiveness at
managing several internal/external customers.
Direct work experience on 1588/PTP/Time Sync protocols &
understanding of deployment scenarios
Direct work experience in either of BFD or MPLS-TP OA&M (BHH)
protocols or both is highly desirable.
Direct work experience with ARM based OS and CPU subsystems would be
considered a PLUS.
Proven track record of successful and timely product delivery
Experience with popular L2/Ethernet Switching, L3 (TCP/IP) and routing
protocols.
Experience with traffic generation tools such as IXIA/Spirent and
Calnex.
Direct experience with networking products and protocols is strongly
preferred.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
