Job Description
12 or more years of demonstrated hands-on experience in creating
technical specifications, application development, testing, tuning, and support
of Teradata Data Warehouse along with ETL tools
Knowledge of Retail Domain/Customer Analytics process is appreciated
Knowledge of BFSI/CPG will be added advantage
Participate in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of the data
warehousing project; project planning, business requirement analysis, data
analysis, logical and physical database design, setting up the warehouse
physical schema and architecture, developing reports, security and deploying to
end users
In depth experience in Teradata system DBA activities
Prior knowledge in MDM/DQ tools is an advantage
Prior Knowledge in ETL tools like Data Stage, SSIS, ODI, BODI and
Informatica is an advantage
Prior Knowledge in BI tools like Cognos, SSAS/SSRS, OBIEE and Micro
Strategy is an advantage
Prior knowledge and experience in appliances like Netezza and Exadata
is an advantage
Hands-on experience in Agile BI development processes and
methodologies, UNIX shell scripting, developing ETL components with ETL tools
like Informatica, SAP Data Services, etc.
